Why do I always draw him in pain and/or dying...?! Poor Allen. I should draw him smiling with joy sometime!
This was done almost entirely in Copic markers... which was a huge test for my level of patience. I usually rush things, especially art, but I am glad that I took my time on this. I think this is one of my pictures that I am very happy with!

After some serious bloodshed and lulz, I finally got my portfolio back (which had this piece included in it). I thought this deserved a better scan. I touched-up Allen's hair with white colored pencil, and I also tried to make his chin look less distorted.. I did as much as I could but the chin still looks like pizza cheese that got stretched out xD

Here's the previous scan for comparison. (oh, GOD, look at the excessive burn tool madness!)

Thanks! ^^ Yeah, they are so expensive! *whimper* You should try Copic Ciao markers, they are a little less expensive. I have 2 of them!

Wow! How in the world do you always get it so shiny! I've heard Copic markers are amazing, but that's insane... I'm used to the evilness that is Crayola markers and I've never seen/touched/used a Copic marker. They seem mythical. . >_>

The kind I generally use (Sketch) are around $5-$6 (they have raised the price T.T) and they hold a bit more ink, while Ciao are $4 and they hold a little less ink, but they are still excellent quality.

Copic markers are high quality markers that many manga artists use, and they generate nifty effects and they are nice and clean! ^^ Crayola markers, on the other hand, frighten me to the point of no return!
